it depends on how serious the love really is....people are all different and sometimes people grow apart......i fell in love at 16 and had to move two states away...within a few weeks his feelings had changed despite him being a genuine person .you are still young and have plenty of time for heartache so dont tie yourself up too much or take things so seriously -get to know yourself while you have the time and figure out who you are (itll take awhile for all this) by then she should be back and hopefully shell still have you in her heart but remember that if she changed her mind at all it probably wasnt you, some people just move on or have different wishes/wants in life than you in that moment , but dont let it ruin your heart either and expect too much upon her return-things may be a lil awkward at times even if you are best friends- take the time to fall in love again with each other and if each of you has changed a lil or alot its cause youre still growing up!!! Good Luck......ps if you talkk to her while shes gone dont worry her with your worries of her leaving you- itll put pressure on her and she may not be able to enjoy her holidays-just let her know that you care for her , miss her and cant wait until she returns and by showing her you trust her and believe in her love shell believe in it too!!

Oh you poor poor young guy. Young girls fall in & out of love almost everyday. Its sad but true. When you are so young and inexperienced at relationships 3 months of not really seeing on another can definatelty make a young girl fall out of love. Maybe when you start actually being around eachother again she may get those old feelings back, but who knows. Young girls are very unpredictable

And you didn't have any contact with her for three months? No phone calls, no emails? If there has been no contact in three months, then it doesn't matter how old you are. I'm 26 and I would completely write a guy off and have moved on regardless of feelings of love if he ignored me for three WEEKS, much less months. A lot can happen over summer break. Maybe you guys can still be friends.

Yes, they can change pretty rapidly even after 3 months. I've talked to friends who have had this happen to them.

yes, you sound quite young, so I think if you would just change after 3 months, it couldn't have been very serious in the first place.

Of course, she is still not mature enough - though still more mature than men in this age... but maybe you're an exception:) Find someone attached.;)
