1 Clint Eastwood - Toughest SOB around. Made 50+ movies playing only two roles, tough cowboy or tough cop. Could kick your *** without breaking a squint.
2 Jack Nicholson - It's all in the 'tude.
3 Danny Trejo - This guy has been in 70+ movies, playing a dirty Mexican in almost all of them. Everybody knows this guy, few people know his actual name. One of the coolest henchmen around

Actors are just that characters in a play , most have never done a real days work or ever fought a real fight .
Mickey Rourke would prefer to be a boxer than an actor and has spent alot of time in the ring fighting for real , when he's not filming he lives the life of an average Joe trawling bars and whatnot so has probably seen and been involved in his fair share of bar fights too .
I reckon face to face he would flatten the above .
Van Damme was world kick boxing champ for 5 years before getting into films so i doubt many would want to get into a tangle with him !

1) Robert Mitchum (for a large body of work, but expecially 'Night Of the Hunter')
2) Bogart (particularly 'The Maltese Falcon')
3) James Cagney (for the grapefruit scene in 'Public Enemy' alone)

For a dramatic variety of action picture, i individually like Matt Damon. Matt is 'too exceedingly looking' to be an exceedingly undesirable guy. For an exceedingly undesirable azzz guy, Mark Wahlberg gets my vote purely reason it incredibly is what he does perfect in movies and he's extra complicated looking!!?
