My husband and I use to strap on backpacks and walk for miles.
We'd climb up the sides of hills with just trees to boost us along.
We had so much fun. Now for the last 12 years that is out. My
husband has ruptured disks and trapped nerves. We both have
arthritis making it difficult to do the things we enjoy. Hey, at least
we have great memories, even though the longing is still there to
climb hills and follow animal paths.
