Ask, "Do you prefer coffee or tea?" wait for a reply, say, "I'll be right back." stop into the nearest coffee shop, make the purchase, return, and ask, "Wanna talk about it?"

Why? Because bad days suck, and sometimes all one needs on a bad day is a good listener.

If it's another guy, I might walk on by, but most likely I would try to strike up a conversation and help him work his problems out. If it were a lady, I would probably do the same, but I would also ask if she wanted a hug. I have done this many times, and have always been answered with a YES and outstretched arms except for one time, and I got cussed out for 5 minutes for being some kinda pervert. When she finished her tirade, she hugged me and said "thanks, my boyfriend dumped me and I needed to vent on someone"

Hmm I would like to say that I would go over to them and say cheer up it's a new day tomorrow and ask if they need a hand, but if they seemed scary or i just wasnt sure about them I would mind my own buisness.....
