what kind of hydraulic fluid should i use?

I have an 1985 Buick Regal Limited with a 2 pump system, eight batteries, and 10 switches, what kind of hydraulic fluid should I use, and how much would it probably take to fill the pumps and lines ? I am an amateur and trying to learn as I go.
Its all ready to go I just have to fill the pumps.

Always RTFM.
Most systems specify fluid type right on the cap or reservoir.
Always use the specified type.
The wrong one can cause real trouble.
