North Carolina would be my first choice as long as it could be along the coast or in the mountains. I'm not a big fan of the suburban sprawl type areas like Charlotte.

I've never been to Missouri, so I'm not sure about that.

Georgia is too hot for me, unless I could live on the coast.

Consider a different approach to achieve your answer?

I live in Missouri. Have also lived in Georgia. And visited North Carolina often.

All three have their positives and negatives. As do all states. And those positive and negatives really depend on the individuals preferences. Way of life. Etc.

What is a positive for us may very well be a negative for you.

Perhaps consider why you want to relocate. What you desire your new location to have that your existing location does not. Then just do some basic research?

I wouldn't want to live in Georgia or North Carolina because of the accents. I could be mistaken, but I don't think Missouri has the southern accent. If they do, then I wouldn't want to live there either. No disrespect to Southerners, I just don't like the accent.

It's also way too hot and humid in the Summer. There's nothing like a climate that is moderated by an ocean current. I'd think first about the Pacific Northwest or Ireland.

I'd miss the mountains if I moved.

None, there all in the south, home to oppressive summers, a lack of fall foliage, lack of snow which means no skiing, sledding, or snow days, and the spawl and population crunch is just too staggering.

None of them, they're all redneck states stuck in the 19th century. California ftw!

Bring on the thumbs down.
