I have said some pretty funny things, which my daughter loved hearing. Once, while napping on the couch, I told her to put the dog’s collar on me. She said, “What?!?” I woke repeating the request, then said, “Oh, never mind. That doesn't make any sense!” Which left her laughing.
I used to have lots of problems with my arms going numb, until I got a new mattress. One night my daughter said I exclaimed loudly, “My Arm Knows No Bounds! IT'S A POPSYCLE!”
My mother once said, “The beans are on the roof!” I wrote it all down somewhere because I asked her about it and we had a whole conversation about those stranded beans! lol
