What was I doing when it was released... I really don't know because it was released in 1969 and I was born in 1972.

i was still in school and thought i was pretty cool..... :/ little did i know i wasn't.....i can feel the air on my face and feel the freedom i had then....i was into dating and had a lot of friends.....mainly because i had a lot of male friends, the girls would tag along hoping to get a date or a boy friend. it was kinda funny.......never a dull moment! friends were starting to experiment with drinking and smoking....very taboo then.... like now just a different generation. wow, thanks for the memories! i kinda forgot a lot of that! it was one of the cool songs
