I have read that soy protein, such as in soy milk, tofu, or edamame can help to regulate your hormones. I'm in the same boat, Honey! I went off the pill A YEAR AGO and my period has not returned, but I read it can take a year or more, and is not considered a medical problem unless it's been more than two years! They really ought to put a warning label on the pill! What if I was like 39 years old or something??

I don't know if this would really help (in a kind of reverse way) but after I had my kids as soon as I was back on the pill my period returned a week later and were regular after that. Maybe try going on the pill for a 4week cycle and then stop it and your period should keep going.

Effectiveness
Depo-Provera is one of the most effective forms of hormonal birth control. On average, the failure rate is only 0.5%. However, the progestin contained within Depo-Provera has been shown to cause fetal defects. Additionally, women who become pregnant while taking Depo-Provera have higher neonatal and infant mortality rates.
Women who are hoping to become pregnant within the next year should not begin taking Depo-Provera. It can take as much as a year before your menstrual system returns to normal after discontinuing the shot.

Theres not alot you can do aside from let your body run its course.. would pay to have a couple of periods before you start trying. Just ensure you have a good diet, sufficient exersize and try and stay relaxed to give your body a good chance of getting back to normal. Good luck!!!

You can always go to GNC and look for a vitamin called Vitex. It is cheap and it will help regulate your hormones. Hope this helps!!!
