There used to be a trend that black men were marrying white women, but now the trend is turning heavily toward white men marrying black women. What is causing this change in our society?

No. Generally speaking, black women don't find white men very attractive. And just about every black person has dealt with racism from white people, and we tend not to cozy up to the people who are the root of the problem. In other words, we know how white people generally feel toward us, so you wont' see us seeking too many friendships or romantic unions with them. Black people tend to mostly marry other black people.

I met few white men married to black women ,I don't think it is a trend,it just happened that a white man fall in love to a black woman,or a brown woman (Asian) fall in love to a white or black man. Love does'nt see color of the skins,but the soul of a person.

why not? people have become more open and have seen this item more and more so it becomes a rea;ity. and its not net. the only reason its allowed now is because times havechanged. during slavery times, white men had more than sexual relations with blak women but their governments ostracized them. you can even read about it im ethopia during the italian nvasion. many italian men wanted to marry and care for black women they took interest in, but they were told propaganda and were told if they do they will siffere consequences. now nothing is stopping them

I have always dated white men, so I have a white boyfriend.
A lot more black American women are now becoming open to the idea of dating outside their race and I think its a good thing. In my area, I see a lot of such couples ( I have three friends who are with white guys) even the teenagers are doing it! lol

Honestly I have always dated and am now marrying a black woman. Well it is happening more now (the bwwm interracial dating/marriage) but that is and individual question. My answer is I have always loved black women. They have an inner strength and love that is just amazing. They are intelligent, honest, hard-working, virtuous. And my fiance` has the most beautiful medium chocolate complexion. She actually has a tan right now so her color is like a hershey bar and its so smooth and beautiful. I love it and her.
