my ex called my sister for advice...?

Question

my ex has found a new g/f,and she ahs 2 kids.One is 10 yrs old,the other is 8 mths.He called my sister and asked what should he do?
He feels he wants out,and says she loves him.He than asks how I was doing,and if I am seeing anyone.Of course my sister said I was doing great,she was proud of me,as I have my own home,and no I was not seeing anyone.Why would he even ask,as hes already seeing someone else?

I think its obvious..
He called your sister for advice, (he feels he wants out) of the relationship with his current girlfriend.

I think he is trying to see if you are available for him.
He might want to start dating YOU again. Or it could be that he is just being nice and asking how you are doing.

Seems to me he doesnt want to break it off with the other unless he thinks he has a chance with you.
Just a thought.
