palmolive dish...and tide

I prefer Ajax dish detergent as it works up a good suds and doesn't require a lot of it to get the job done plus it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
With the laundry detergent, I buy the Cheapest Name Brand that is on sale. I do buy a name brand, though, as they seem to do the best for their money.

Dish soap... Almost any of them... I like the green apple scented one... Laundry, Tide... Smells fantastic, with Downy's cashmere scented softener....
