Just sit down -tick- and wait -tock- and watch as the future approaches. If you want it to move faster, than increase your altitude -- move away from the source of Earth's gravity. If you want it to move a lot faster, then pick a galaxy 15 billion light years away and walk away from it for 10 minutes. When you're done, 1000 years will have passed in that galaxy. Walk towards it, and that you'll have shifted towards that galaxy's past by 1000 years.
