I don't expect it from anyone. Just don't push me away from the door so you could come in first. If a guy sees someone coming out of the door then he should let the other person pass first. and if he's on a date then being a gentleman will go a long way in scoring points. Also works with parents and grandparents. But I really don't expect for someone to hold the door for me if he didn't see me in the first place.

If I am walking behind someone I expect anyone man or woman to hold the door. Most times they do. Just as I would for them. If I see someone with a stroller or a lot of packages I will run to open the door for them.

No, I don't expect them to do it because they don't have too. I can open the door myself but if a man does hold it open for me then I say thank you because it is a nice gesture.
