In response to 123mantobeat456's answer, I am sure we are all familiar with who he is, and whether or not he was a latin american patriot has no bearing on whether he had any grasp of the English language.

In 1964 he was the head of the Cuban delegation which traveled to New York to address the UN General Assembly. He appeared on CBS' show "Face The Nation" and I believe he did speak some English. I don't know whether any tapes or kinescopes of that broadcast are in the CBS archives.

to the best of my knowledge che guevarra was the latin american patriot who helped liberate many latin american nations from colonizers. i dont think he spoke any english.
