I found the Litho behind a Piccaso print that my grandparents had. The Litho is B&W and is a picture of a royal carriage being drawn by 6 horses through the snow. The Litho is on a embossed board and states that the publisher is CW Faulkner. I have been unable to locate any other prints similar to this. I believe it was purchased in europe before the war and then brought to Australia. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi! There are so many sites with his art that I barely scratched the surface but there's not very much about him. George Derville Rowlandson (British, b. India, 1861 - London, 1930), ) Known principally for his dashing hunting scenes. I regret I didn't find your piece either but that doesn't mean it's not out there. I've include galleries, auctions, reproductions, oils, magazine and book illustrations.. you could contact one of the houses that inventory his art or contact Swanns Auction House as they specialize in prints and are probably familiar with his work. I do hope that this helped a bit... and I wish you good luck!
