I'm still going to class, and I want to start auditioning for projects to build my resume. I think I'll use actoracces.com to submit for roles. Do you think it is smart to get headshots even though I want to sumbit for non paying roles? Will a snapshot pass for an audition?

A snapshot is not a headshot. A headshot is an 8x10 photograph. Many actors get headshots, even if they are only auditioning for non-paying work. To get headshots or not, is up to you and your budget. Ask your acting teacher what he/she suggests.

You will need both a head shot and a resume. i cant find anything at actoraccess except ads for credit cards and junk., so i don't think it is any good for anything. What non paying roles are you thinking of submitting for? No snapshots, 8x 10 only. Click on my name, read my profile and write me at my aol address, and I will try to help you.

A professional headshot is the calling card of a serious actor. A good one will definitely give you more consideration than a so-so one.

get at least a walmart headshot to show that you are serious, you will be overlooked if you have nothing but a snapshot, as some random person
