Tell me Bill Walton didn't overspeak again tonight?
Like last night during USA vs VENEZUELA....
Is it just me or does most people here think he just talks too much about nothing?

Even as a UCLA grad-- i have to say that i find Bill Walton annoying! Perhaps it's the time he spent with the Celtics (as a Lakers fan).
Actually he just talks way too much... and was much worse tonight than vs Venezuela.

Bill's a real smart guy. Here in San Diego, he's basically the only basketball player that is a true legend from the area. Jud Buechler, Chris Dudley and Cliff Levingston ARE NOT legends. Look for Chaise Budinger to change that.
Not only was Bill one of the best players in the league when healthy (1970's), he is truly an intelligent guy and a conduit to legends like John Wooden.
I think America is well overdue in stepping up it's collective ability to cogitate. For if not, we will soon be dragging its collective knuckles and looking to China for answers.
For the record, that's not good...

I have to agree. Bill Walton talks way to much about stupid ****. I wish they would get rid of him

i really enjoyed bill walton until he started talking smack about kobe. now i 50/50 like/dislike him.
i enjoy the fact that hes knowledgable and humourous.
i do not enjoy the fact that he sometimes is not smart enough in selecting what to talk about and what not to talk about
overall, hes funny. and i like funny.

Again the reason why he has so much nonsense to say is because his wife doesn't want him home. She doesn't want to hear his nonsense! Him and Dave Niehaus need to become friends so they both know what it sounds like to be talking out of their ***!

I actually enjoy Bill when he goes off into one of his rants....especially when he stops the rant and says...."That is absolutely PITIFUL defesne there...." or something like that.
