Your question brings up several thoughts. As studious as I may be at times, I do like a good sitcom occassionally. The problem is that they often take the show away from the writers as the producers think ratings and sales to sponsors - and make adjustments the the stories that the poor artists labored for days over. But back to serious. I do like to be serious on special occasions such as , are you still with me? , this one. I feel that i can liven up just any situation by focusing on on exactly what is going on. I do love to explain jokes. I am a tireless troubadore,if you will, about that. we have a need to fully understand what is going on and what makes everything in life tick. You (and I) have to admit though that such behavior can, on rare occasions, bore people. When those situations arise I like to use levity
So, to answer you question(s), I'm not sure.

I am serious when there is a need to be. Otherwise, life is too short to take everything seriously. I wouldn't be on P&S if I was serious all the time. lol
