you can't keep socks on a baby! and when they start moving around you know you can't just keep them separated in their own beds and things all the time. They will all get their own personalities and behaviors soon. so until then, you can keep them in their own carriers, beds, and things like that. and get 4 diff. colored shirts, and stuff. then when they get big it will be the parents instinct to know which one is which. Use a thumb print kit too, or foot print kit. personally, dude, take their thumb prints.

The only sure-fire thing I can think of is piercing their ears... a different coloured stone for each kid. Some people pierce their babies' ears... but it seems rather extreme to inflict pain on ones so small. If they were my kids, I'd probably be labelling them every couple of days with a fine-point sharpie marker :)

I would write the names on the socks or the foot. Knowing me I would get them mixed up...

A letter tattooed in an inconspicuous place may be the only way to be sure.
