It'll never happen with the newer "multiplexes," but I like the style of the old movie "palaces" built from the 20s thru the 50s. That's why I like to go to various kinds of performances - concerts, plays, movies - presented in old, restored/refurbished theaters.
Less rude yak-yak by self-centered, ill-mannered dimwits who have no consideration for others.
No infants - they should be left with babysitters.
Old cartoons - Mickey, Daffy, Elmer, Roadrunner, Bugs, Mighty Mouse, et al - they were the best.

I think it would be neat if there were massagers in the seats to make it more comfortable to watch a movie. It would be cool if the seats could recline as well. Also bathrooms that are closer to the theater room and a second concession stand closer to the theater room so that ppl wont have to walk far away to get a refill.

on fridays and saturdays the theater should be fully staffed, every box office window should have someone in it, there shouldnt really be long lines. id have ushers at every theater, checking stubs for people who look under 17, so no freakin kids sneak into R movies and talk and ruin it for the rest of us! once the movie starts, the ushers go inside the theater, and toss anyone talking during the movie, no second chances!

more of silence
there's too much noise in the theater
Silence is Golden
That is why it's better when it's silent and people don't add all their soundtracks.
