or how , if you dont have one yet, how do you think you will meet him or her??

I mean school, work, church (I guess, if you attend) , then I guess online dating and bars and clubs are the next options.

I guess a better question is how do most people find their partner, you think?

why?

I think many go after what is convenient, but maybe that is alright if you truely can love the person.

Just joking a bit there, dont take it too seriously.

I think work is better than any other place, but i do think the internet is opening up more possiblities of finding a true match.

but people seem to paranoid still about it.

Long story. In simplified terms, we knew each other through my brother (they were friends) and we all attended the same church.

I don't have any plan. I just sail through life and let it happen spontaneously if it does happen. And if it does not happen, then it is meant to be. Most people meet face to face, like each other enough and get married.

Internet dating is unreliable. You can't be sure if that woman or man is married. You are only having an extramarital relationship whether on line or off line that is if you two meet. That is not happiness. That is being selfish. If you can have an extramarital relationship with the first person, you can have the same thing with the second and subsequent people.
Not only is that person married, you would not know if you are dealing with a psychologically unstable person, a criminal or people whom you don't want in your life.

Few traditional rules to observe. You meet the parents or the guardians. You get to know the family. It is not good pretending to believe in some religion, go to the place of worship just to find your life partner. If you do get married and you tell your spouse that in actual fact you don't believe in anything, you make yourself out to be a liar.

Should we meet our ideal partner through online dating? . . .
A common question these day among friends. The first answer usually comes from the cautious individuals who warn against predators and seemingly demented individuals. Next you have the handful of people who know ‘so and so' who just got married to the person that they met online.
We would always point out that there is no commitment to simply looking and discovering how it all works. What has anyone got to lose in setting up a simple profile and seeing what happens?
For me,it is still more romantic to meet them in person. Like through blind dates or other ideal ways.

It used to be through the workplace, but that will just get your fired now.

I met my girlfriend at a friend's wedding. I think most people meet their mates through friends these days.

The Internet is the absolute worst place to try to meet a mate. I tried that too, made some heavy friends, but it could have been a nightmare.

I placed a personal ad in the local paper. I was brutally honest about myself and very picky about what I was looking for. We've been together 11 years, married 7 years this Sunday.

How do they usually find them? I think most find them in the life that they live around them, you know, NOT online.

But I think if I have any hope in meeting a gentlemen right for me, he's gonna be on the internet...

I just don't really see many men in the life around me...

Some aren't eligible (taken, straight, etc) but most don't really seem worth it, around here anyway.

Maybe it's my mind tricking me! Yay!! :D

Anyway, good, good question. Keep it up!
