My suggestion would be not to do it. The reason I say this is that my first husband had my name tattooed on his arm and after 12 years we were divorced. He was then stuck with my name on his arm as a reminder of me and I'm sure that wasn't such a pleasant thing for his next wife.
He always threatened that if that would happen he would just have the word "screw" tattooed above my name or maybe even the worse version of that ---"f*ck".
As it actually really turned out, we had named our daughter the same name as mine therefore it all turned out fine.
So unless you could come up with these type of results, I would not advise doing it. :o)

Don't do it. I wish there was a less permanent way to tattoo, but don't do it. Unless maybe you want to date another girl with the same name in case you break up/divorce, and then flatter her after a week or so with her name on your arm :P

What happens when it's over between you? Yet on a positive side, you won't have to worry about how to spell her name anymore, it's right in front of you.

It's really not a good idea. Costs too much down the road to get it covered.

No because if you break up you are stuck w/ a tatoo of her name unless you are rich & can get it removed w/ laser surgery.

No. What if her name is Gertrude or something like that? Then you'd be stuck.
