First off, this is a pet peeve of mine, don't just say something is stupid or wrong. Back it up with facts.
That being said dogfighting should not be legalized. Imagine a sport where 2 guys get into a ring with knives and carve on each other. Even if it isn't to the death it is going to disfigure, possibly injure, the fighters. Their quality of life goes down. The only ones benefitting from it are the guy's managers.
When dogs fight it typically ends with one dog's teeth clamped on the throat of another dog. Even with pry bars, one second too late and the other dog just bled out on the floor.
Just do a google image search for dogfighting. The pictures there are grusome. One should never abuse or torment animals. I'm not a tree hugging hippy. I just know the difference between right and wrong.

No unlike people who volunteer to for MMA, or boxing dogs do not have a choice in dogfighting

dogfighting should remain illegal its inhuman , if we allow this we might as well put two year olds in a ring and let them beat the crap out of each other

Of course not. How would you like to be forced into a ring with another person and told to fight to the death. How would you like to be electrocuted or drowned if you didn't do well?

Are you serious, there is no way something that apsurd would ever happen. I agree with that last guy dogs dont have a choice. You dont have to be a tree hugger to tell that it's just plain wrong.
