i'm not from austrailia, but i can imagine that long finned guppies are quite common. any pet store specializing in fish should have them. if they don't, it's not a very good store.

they are sometimes refered to as "ribbon" guppies as the long fins look like flowing ribbons.
maybe that name will help you along

i know australia has wierd import/export laws, but im pretty sure guppies are allowed and very common.

U can always order online, aquabid.com, ebay.com under " live fish"

Try looking at fishprofiles.com, That is a forum, but they are homebased in Austrailia and they can help you far better than any of us in the states.

I would actually just go to your petstore and ask them if they can order them for you
Here in the US, they usually do that

Hope that helps
Good luck

they might have gotten eaten up by the Koala bears or the Kangaroos......look at a pet store you might find them there.
