x and y must end up on the same side. there is NOT a seperate answer for X and a seperate answer for Y

x+20=y+80
x=y+80-20
x=y+60
x-y=60

bring y over to x and bring 20 to the other side
x-y = 80 -20 = 60

x-y=80-20
