What about walsh, Wasim, Lilee, Ambros, Waqar and Hadlee. Are these bowlers behind Mcgrath.

I think Chaminda vaas and Lasith Malinga came best than Glenn mcgrath

He was one among the best bowlers. Walsh, Wasim, Lillee,
Waqar, Hadlee, Kapil and others were as good as it gets.
Every one on the above list are great bowlers and McGrath
had a great line and length along with pace that made him a
great bowler, if not the best.

Going by number of test wickets at this stage you would have to say yes. I wonder how many he would have got if Warne hadn't been taking them away from him at the other end. But to say someone is the best ever you need to compare the eras in which they played, number of tests, etc. There were and are many great fast bowlers - Walsh, Ambrose, Lillee, Hadlee, Garner, Marshall, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Holding and many others just in my lifetime. So, let's not continue with this constant who was/is the best and just focus on the fact that there are a lot of great players, from many countries who people can admire and base their own games on.

Macgrath is the best all stats point to it
Lilee, Armbrose and Waqur don't have Test 400 wickets
Only Wasim Hadlee and McGrath have had 25 test innings with 5 wickets
Only McGrath has 300 one day wickets

Some people think Mcgrath is the best. I agree with them. But wasim, waquar, walsh are legends. Mcgrath is also a legend. He holds the record of most test wickets for a fast bowler ever!!!! So there is no doubt about that.

Definitely not , you cannot compare Mcgrath with Walsh , he was the king of bowlers of his time so is Wasim , Ambros, Kapil and so , But Mcgrath is a very good bowler as well

Though Glen Mc Grath holds the record for most wickets in test cricket for a fast bowler, I feel Richard Hadlee, Courtney Walsh, Ambrose and Wasim Are better bowlers than him.

Definitely not , you cannot compare Mcgrath with waqar & wasim , both are the king of reverse swing & sultan of swing bowlers, But Mcgrath is a very good bowler as well

502 one day wickets, a world record. mrknowitall above doesn't know what he is talking about when he says only Mcgrath has 300 one day wickets.
