Compared to most developed countries, purchasing a gun in some, not all, U.S. states is hassle-free. Look at that kid who bought assault weapons on 3 separate occasions and then used them to massacre students at Virginia Tech last April. He had been declared mentally ill, and he was still allowed to purchase lethal weapons. People like that need to have more obstacles placed in front of them as they head for the gun store.
Still, it's good to know that the Homeland Security Department is looking out for travellers' safety. Not only will you be ordered to remove your shoes, you cannot bring more than 3oz (90ml) of any kind of liquid in your carry-on luggage. That includes bottled water! Seriously, how exactly is is a terrorist going to hijack a plane with a bottle of Evian? Is he going to pour it into the cellphone jack to short out the plane's electrical system? If that is even possible, why then, is bottled water available once you get onto the plane? The same type of bottled water that was confiscated at the gate?
I just found out you can't even bring glass snowman paperweights onto a plane. Not that I want to - I just don't see them as being particularly dangerous. I've never heard of anyone being attacked or threatened with them. They're cheesy - that's about as offensive as they get.
Has Homeland Security considered the elevated threat level of the human hand? You don't need weapons to immobilize or even kill people. A couple of months of martial arts training and you'll be amazed at what you can do to other people. Maybe all the passengers should be handcuffed to their seats, just in case one of them might be a terrorist.

Somehow, I doubt we'll ever see another shoe bomb event anytime soon.
And as far as buying a gun with ease, that depends on the kind of gun and the state and, in some cases, the city you live in.
Some people want to cary their pistols on their person to defend themselves against known enemies. In some cities, that is almost impossible to obtain anymore.
As far as general hunting weapons like bolt action rifles and shotguns go, a simple background check and waiting period tends to filter out the wife beaters and felons. Those people tend to steal their weapons anyway.
Time can be considered a hassle to some people.

There is still a hassle in buying a gun (i.e., stupid paperwork, with unconstitutional checks and requirements, and threat of felony offense for getting something as small as an address wrong).
Look, I don't like the airplane hassles either. At least we can still buy guns.

You can't carry a gun without hassle. It really depends on where you are, but it is very hard in many parts of the country.
Regardless, only paranoid people are concerned with law abiding citizens carrying guns. I'd feel much safer, actually.

Because the ATF and FBI can give an instant background check at the time of a gun prurchase, and the airport authority does not have those computers when boarding a plane... and for your information, you can assault with any weapon, including a ball bat.. should be ban baseball too, to kepp you liberals nuts happy?

I just recently tried https://tr.im/mwKWK last month to see if I could track down my birth-parent. My bio father left me when I was 8, and has refused to contact me since. I grew up with my biological Mother and Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological dad a couple times till recently. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his full name, and the state of a previous address he used to have.
When the results came back based on the minimal info I had, It pulled up a current address even his phone number. When I called the phone no., I heard the voice of what sounded like it may be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my bio father) was present, and he said no but to try back after 7.
I haven't done anything with the info since, But yeah I found what I was interested in.

i ought to offer you hyperlinks explaining why there's a could desire to do this. whether it may likely be a waste of time. There are people who could be against some element yet prepared to be taught and others who forget approximately approximately any documents or information and stubbornly carry on with their emotional evaluations. I don’t like the belief of capturing wolves from a airplane yet I understand the could desire to realize this in some circumstances. You little doubt do not could desire to manage wolves killing your pets, farm animals and attacking family. yet some human beings right here in Alaska have been attacked by employing a wolf and have had a enjoyed horse, dogs or farm animals killed by employing them. we've approximately 17,000 wolves in our state. we have no decision yet to chop back their numbers. in case you want to relocate a number of them so we don’t could desire to kill them, then i'm with you a hundred%! merely pay the delivery and seize expenses and we are able to deliver you some thousand. no extra suitable than that in spite of the indisputable fact that as we want and love our wolves, merely have too many appropriate now. So instead of merely insulting us and how we manage an over inhabitants of wolves why don’t you DO something to help us? For each and all the anti-wolf hunters available, I certainly have yet to work out considered one of them certainly do something yet *****. Do you swat mosquitoes that chunk you? Why? they want your blood, why kill them for doing what's organic for them? could you like a house packed with rats or mice? They like to populate residences, why kill them?? If I had the money i could gladly deliver you some hundred hungry wolves. And as quickly as they killed each and every animal in you community and chased some human beings around, i'm useful you're able to see issues in a distinctive way!

You can ride a motorcycle without a helmet in most states but you'll get a traffic violation for driving your car without a seat belt.
