and attacking another country for religious purposes and then taking away all of our constitutional rights and freedoms based on a so called war on terrorism? Can we really approve of that and did we actually capture any of the so called terrorist or are they getting stronger and stronger behind our backs and still in hiding? So where is the President where is the leadership of America? Should we continue to even call this America since it does not seem to respect its own constitution any longer? I wonder? How can we win under these circumstances what is it that we are winning? If we lose in Iraq why can't they can blame Bush? How can we win, but if we win why will they will look like pansy's, and who are the pansy's is this just some so called right wing christian fundamental propagandic stand?

Hey Goober what country are you from? You do not even write good American so perhaps you should keep your nose out of this. "They will follow us we cant' just leave them. Bush have saved MILLIONS of lives by going into Iraq and liberating those people. We have to stay the corse for however long it takes untill all the terror is gone wiped clean from the globe for good."

I think they will follow YOU!, you are probably one of the trouble makers causing all of this and keeping it stirred up, that is just what I think though. Why are you doing that? Our country needs our people, our protection, our money, our resources, and our support, this war was wrong and so are you, I think?

"looking out for my future and my childerns future even if there was no weapons or what not you cant have crazy *** cults or whatever you want to call them going around threating life wake the hell up if we didnt invade we would have more mother f*uckers over here blowing us up for no reason what so ever"

How stupid can you get, I know you say you are young, but that is no reason for ignorance. He didn't stop a thing and he didn't get the ones that did anything to us they are over there proliferating and they say pay back can be hell?

Only when they came and did something was it the time to get them, you seem immature and unwise to me? This war is not about terrorism, it is about destroying our constitution, control of the people, oil, and religion and nothing else!

"Another angry liberal who feels guilty about being an American."

No I don't feel guilty about being an American, and in fact I am not a liberal, I would probably be more of a Republican then many of the so called good republicans if the actual Republican platform were to be followed, don't get your Republican liberals messed up with your conservative independents or for that matter Democrats!

"the America captured the person who's responsible for Twin Tower Event already, so why the soldiers are still in there?" I don't think they got all of them or even the masterminds yet, that is truthful, that is why they keep saying it is a war of terrorism, but that doesn't really even make it so, we need fewer but better intelligence! Our people that work in intelligence must stop listening and being trained by psychiatry that does not know its head from a hole in the ground, that is the problem or part of it.

""So while I agree that the reason we are their was bad and misleading thanks to our CIA friends, we should be their now. We can hopefully build an Iraq that is safe not just for men but women, and children to. ""

You are closer to right then what you are wrong I think? We didn't have any right to change anyone else government in the first place so now we got this problem and there is no winning and there is no protecting those people for the rest of their lives now is there, we would have done best to protect our people and our country and now our country is in desperate economic trouble because of it!

Well I do not agree with you totally. I mean we are facing a new enemy who really has no face and uses a countries securities and rights to try and impose their own. I do think that at the onset of the war in Iraq many people fealty that Sodom Hussein could not be trusted. The UN was doing nothing about fixing the problem then once we get in there we see that many of the high ups in the UN were making illegal deals with Hussein. That explains why the UN was not doing anything about him. Now we are in their and trying to help set up a government of the people and Iran and many other Islamic nations fear that. They want Iraq to be an Islamic state with Islamic law. That means no real education for women, and keeping them out of government and the say so as to what goes on in their own land. It is now a well known fact that Iran is supplying arms and money to the insurgents. Many of whom have been brained washed into thinking that if they strap a bomb on them and walk into a group of people they will go to heaven and then be allowed to fornicate with their 70 virgins. This has gone from a war that started over human rights to a war over religion and a religious group trying to take control as it once did in Afghanistan. We should support the Iraq government though we may not always see eye to eye with them we should support them. It is time to begin bringing our boy home and force them to fight for their own freedom however. The war was started by very bad CIA intelligent which is a shame. But we are there now, the last thing I want to see happen to those poor people is to be killed off hundreds at a time if a group like the Taliban were to take over. We are trying to set up a free and independent Iraq. A government that will not kill and abuse it's own people. One where Islamic law will not have a woman stoned to death if she shows to much of her ankles. I think and I feel that any reasonable person should agree that since we are there we should make it a safe and strong nation. One with laws and one where no religion dominates all the others and forbids any other religion except that of Islam. So while I agree that the reason we are their was bad and misleading thanks to our CIA friends, we should be their now. We can hopefully build an Iraq that is safe not just for men but women, and children to.

Bush is a retard, we're all aware of this obvious fact. I am not American, but I did spend a few years living in the USA.
I feel sorry for many of the good citizens of the USA, because they really deserve better than what they currently have.
The American people are great people for the most part, but I noticed severe right wing censorship forced upon it's people by politicians, media and even it's educational system. This is why some Americans are totally blind as to what's really going on in other parts of the world. Though when stumped on something, many will tell you it's because they don't care, or it's insignificant to them. For instance, how many Americans are taught in school of how Canadians kicked their butts during the war of 1812. To this day, if you peel away the lower section of the White house, you'll find charcoal. This is from the Canadians burning it to to it's foundations. They don't teach that in American schools.

Americans should be proud, because they have achieved many great things. It's just too bad their schools don't tell you about all the lying, cheating, death and destruction their Government has caused.

Here's my analogy on the events leading up to the attacks on Sept 11; The US government and it's foreign policies have behaved like a school yard bully for many years now, pushing all the smaller kids around. Then one day, one of the smaller kids gets pissed off. He'll never stand a chance against the big bully all by himself in a face to face confrontation, so he sneaks up behind him with a rock and smashes the bully in the back of the head, and knocks him out cold (9-11). When the bully wakes up, he really doesn't think very clear, partly from shock and partly from anger. Also, the bully has made so many enemies on the school playground over the years, he has a hard time figuring out just who is responsible for this sneak attack.
I think when Bush went into Afghanistan, he should have stayed and finished the job he started. I'm sure many will agree with this. My 19 year old nephew was killed over there last September trying to finish what Bush had no interest in finishing.

I am Canadian, and served in the gulf with my younger brother who was killed in action in 1991. We fought side by side with our American brothers and the other 30 plus members of the coalition.
My Father served in the Korean war, and my Grandfather served in WW 2 from 1939-45, and my grandfathers two older brothers served in the 1st world war.
I have a difficult time with some of these American 'armchair critics' I've met online over the years. They seem to think that because Canada has not totally supported them in recent years during the Bush administration, that somehow we have no honor or courage. The fact that the US needs to be engaged in a war continuously has nothing to do with courage or honor, and more to do with stupidity and greed. Though they use excuses like, "oh we must protect our country against communists", and "oh, we must invade Iraq and destroy their weapons of mass destruction". The sad thing is, many Americans have believed all of the lies that their government has told them through the years.
So now G.W Bush has got himself into a terrible mess. I have never supported anything that moron has done, and I applaud my country for not always bending over to the American shaft, the way some countries like Great Britain have done.
If you look to our past, you'll see the Americans weren't there to help much of the world during the 1st world war, until the last 6 months of that conflict. Or even WW 2 for that matter, until a couple years into that conflict. The coalition asked for their help, but the Americans wanted no part of it. Not until Pearl Harbor. Sure, they did speed up the end to WW2, but at what cost?
I think the American government is a joke, and the American people should be ashamed of George W Bush.

I hate to sound like an American basher, because I am not. My wife is American, and I have many American friends
I really have a problem with the way the US government has conducted itself around the globe regarding foreign policies then and now.
So I do not approve. Why should I support a fool and his tyrannical decisions? Maybe we should have handled things the same way the US government did in the 1st and 2nd world wars, "We won't get involved until we're attacked, or our interests are at stake"...No, I think we're better than that, and here's proof, we've been in Afghanistan fighting since the aftermath of 9-11. Ever since your crazy Texan leader fled to go and fight an imaginary war in Iraq, which has now turned out to be all too real!
I am Canadian, and damn proud of it!
Who will G.W Bush decide to invade next?? Canada?? He probably would, if he could find it!

Of course not..... maybe the Twin Tower Event wasn't his fault; however, the remaining and the current war are his faults (duh.... the America captured the person who's responsible for Twin Tower Event already, so why the soldiers are still in there? It's a done deal already, so there aren't any reasons why the soldiers have to keep fighting); the soldiers have to keep fighting because he's aiming at the oils and making profits from it ...... Not to mention the other things that he's done so far (I wonder what else he can do before he leaves).....

Dont listen to these "I love America" bullshitters, America is in a war for oil, accept it everyone please. We are not in war against a religion, and not against terrorists, and not against opression. It is for power, money, and oil! As long as America doesnt move into Iran (sadly I know they will) I am fine.

They will never admit they are wrong, just like GWB never did.

But, after 08, this will all change. Can't wait to see the show getting started.
