hey.
I'm getting a tattoo next month on my 18th birthday with my mom and my older brother. What do you guys think of this tattoo? I'm thinking on getting it either on the top of my foot, on one of my shoulder blades or the back of my neck...but I'm kind of leaning toward the top of my foot more. I know, I know a butterfly tattoo how cliche..but theres a meaning behind a butterfly tattoo for me. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo like this one but in a pinkish/blue/purple color and a stardust like trail behind it and I'm gonna ask the tattoo artist to personalize it more for me . So what do you guys think? Serious answers only please=]

I think it would look nice on the foot or shoulder blade. If you decide to get it on your foot don't get it too big. I know 2 people that have tattoo's on there feet. One woman has one on each foot and they are both pretty big and I think it is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. And the other has a little fairy and it looks really cute. If you think you have ugly feet then you shouldn't get one on your feet don't want to attract attention to those ugly feet, but if they are cute then go right ahead and show them off.Good luck. By the way the butterfly is really cute.

Seems nice enough - I design tattoos for a living amongst other things (funnily enough I don't actually have any myself), and I could do better than that.
It's just so samey, I've seen that kind of design a thousand times, but adding a strdust trail might be a good idea.

I've heard the top of the foot is very painful. I personally wouldn't do the shoulder blade or back of the neck because I couldn't see it. I got my tattoos for ME to see, not someone else! LOL.. I have one on each upper arm, where I can show them if I want by wearing a tank, or hide them.

The top of your foot is very painful !!!! Get it on your back. Much more sexy and alot less painful for your first one. Every Tattoo should have a meaning and yours will be very pretty. Good luck!!!

I think you should exercise your uniqueness by NOT getting a tattoo. Tattoos are ridiculously trendy and so last week.

Seriously, a tattoo on the back of the neck is not cool. Check other women with names engraved on their neck; it's not cool.

I like it. I'm getting one too of a butterfly with my dad and father-in-laws initals on the wings (both died) and scrooling down to 2 other butterflies with my kids names in them

omg don't get them on your foot. they get really distorted real fast... think about it... your always using your foot... and its really hard to heal and not the cleanest... plus you have to be real careful that you wont ever wear sandals or anything that will mess it up! but other then that i love the design.
