the police gave me a fine of $1,076 & i have 15 days to pay it..if i get my license & insurance in those 15 days will my fine lower & how much do you think ? Im 18 yrs old by the way

barbara,I did learn my lesson that's why im getting my license in those 15 days and even if they don't lower the fine i'll still get my license & insurance because that's really important !!

i dont know bout where you stay but in alabama if it's your first ticket they throw it away. And usually if you go get your license and insurance before you go to court they will throw your ticket out. even if they make you pay the whole amount they will allow you to pay it in payments. you can always call the number on the back of your ticket and ask them what can you do!

No, it will not lower your fine-there are no do-overs in the law. You made a choice to break the law and now you must face the consequence of your decision.
Would you getting that stuff now help someone if you had wrecked their car? No-they would have to hope you would make it good, and since you're trying to worm out of part of your fine, I doubt you would.
I hope you learn a lesson.

they'll probably split the difference. Take the cost of licence and insurance and subtract it from the fine and that will be about it. Maybe a bit less. I'd guess your in for about 800 total

It is the judge's discretion on penalties within the guidelines that must be followed. Have all documentation needed and apologize for the transgression & good luck.
