On Wednesday I will be in a difficult situation that will require me to keep a straight face for an hour and a half. I will be in the presence of 2 friends having a discussion with a group of about 10 that we all know very little about, and we need to pretend like we dont know each other at all. Considering the complete BS we will be discussing, i predict it will be very hard for us to keep straight faces. So how can we keep straight faces for an hour and a half?

no eye contact. pick someone in the group to latch onto and talk to them the whole time.

The only way is to not even look at each other. The eyes are always the dead give away to any thing. Try not sitting to close or you all can pretend one of you has a feeling that the other is having his way with his girlfriend right under his nose...

i would think that if this is serious business, there shouldn't be a problem.
it isn't necessary to keep a straight face anyway. many people blend a little humor into any forum. all you have to do is make sure it's timely.

Pretend you're a horse. (Think about it; straight face.)
