It does sound like you lack of menstruating could be due to stress & eating sugar wouldn't return your cycle, since your cycle is controlled by hormones. Hormones can be affected by stress, medication, illness & lack of body fat. I would have a talk with your mom or a doc., if your worried. :)

There's many reasons why you could lose it. Sudden changes in your "bodily schedule" could make a difference. If all of a sudden you became a die-hard workouter, or tons of junk food/only healthy food. If there is a significant amount of stress piling up on you right now, that could do it easily too. Sometimes when you are younger and just have started your period a couple years ago, your body hasn't reached a "cycle" and you could lost it for a bit. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but it would be a good idea to see a doctor just in case it could be something else. What it would be, I have no idea, but just in case. Good Luck!

stress. I once didnt get my period for 6 months, and i am too a virgin, and so i had to go to the docters and they put me on the pill. when i tried to come off the pill, i didnt get my period at all, so i just went back on, so you should probably talk to your doctor about the birth control pill. It reaguialtes your period very well. and if you are not interested in the pill, than you can take progesteron/estrogen pills and that will make your period come but the doctor still has to proscribe them. You should also talk to your doctor about seing a gaenacologist, and you should maybe think about getting blood work and an ultra sound just to make sure that you do not have polisystic overies and just to make sure that evrything is normal, but i wouldnt be too worried, just call your doctor and set up an appointment!!!

With no contact what so ever with a guy, it's probably hormonal. It's common for young women to skip periods, but you may still be ovulating without a period. Don't feel embarrassed over going to the dr ok?. Your mom doesn't have to go in the room with you, just a nurse with the dr. You can also try to find a woman dr. if it makes you more comfortable. We all have to go through the dreaded gyno visits.

if you got ur first period up to 2 years ago, than you shouldn't worry too much. my doctor told me that periods r irregular the first 1-2 years. but if you've had it for more than 2 years, than go to your doctor. dont be embarrassed if ur mom comes along, periods r natural. i mean, ur mom cares about you, she's not gonna do anything or tell everyone.

good luck! :)

Maybe your are not eating enough sugar. My sister went on a diet and for six months she did not get her period. the doctor said that her body lacked sugar. She started eating on candy every morning and her period came back.

it must be rigidity, your weight loss application, your hormones in keeping with hazard a lil out of stability you're able to desire to communicate on your typical practitioner and that they are going to attempt you for STIs and urine infections and probably do an extremely sound to envision your ovaries for cysts...then whilst they have ruled all those out they could supply you something to regualte your hormones? Def talk on your typical practitioner anyhow your reproductive well-being is merely too significant to forget approximately approximately :)
