I have to have my space when I sleep.

It's nice for a while but eventually it gets too hot and then I like to space out a little. You really get to miss it when it's not there tho :-(

This is probably more a question for the females. I can sleep with someone's head on my chest and their legs draped over me. I'm a pretty good sized guy so I do most of the holding. I don't need space I like to be close.

I have a different take on that..i cant sleep.. but its not because i'm uncomfortable..its because my heart races and i cant settle down enough to sleep when i am holding that special someone
I know..sounds kind of corny doesnt it?

I sleep next to my husband but I can't sleep with him holding me. I love him deeply, I'm just not much of a cuddler.

As romantic as everyone makes that sound, it is difficult to sleep when you have someone cutting off your air supply because they have their arm wrapped too tightly around you. I like my space too.

No. My wife and I are close when we go to bed. But after she falls asleep, I roll over. Like you, I need a little bit of room. And I don't know why, but I can't fall asleep unless I'm facing the edge of the bed.
