I agree, it sounds like you might be anemic (low iron). I would have your blood checked by your doctor & find out what is going on. Have you changed your diet recently are you eating less? Your mom's cancer & her blood clots are a different issue & it doesn't have anything to do with your body.

If your Mom has had problems with blood clots make sure you are not on the birth control pill, as this condition can be hereditary. The unexplained bruising can have result from many conditions. I would tell your Dr.how long this has been going on & any other symptoms. He will probably start with a comprehensive panel of blood tests to get the best diagnosis. Make sure they include a clotting time test. List any meds you have taken, even Tylenol, Aspirin, or Advil. Any little bit of info can help. Good luck!

Drinking tomato juice should help if it is a matter of blood needing to be thinned without the bad effects of aspirin.
Hope that helps.

Vitamin K deficency causes bruising. Def talk to your dr about it, because of the family history.

Yes, go to the doctor...better safe than sorry. However, it may be something as simple as you needing more potassium in your diet.
