Your weight doesn't depend on your age, it depends on your height. The median recommended weight for a 5' girl is 100lbs. You should add another 5 lbs for each inch over 5' tall. Your weight is appropriate for someone who is about 4' 8", which is fine if you are that short, but most teens aren't. Chances are, you really need to gain some weight, probably at least 20 lbs.

You're in the middle of your teenage years?
They say that teenage years start at 13 and end at 18/19 which would put you at 15 or 16 years old. Depending on your height, I would say you don't weigh enough.
But since you said you were chubby in elementary school, I'm going to assume that you're in middle school right now which would, depending on your height, put you at an average weight.
Remember, it's not the number on the scale. Muscle weighs more than fat...etc etc etc there is so much more involved in determining a healthy weight than just your height so the best and only way to know is to consult a pediatrician.

Well that really depends on your height , bone structure and age. If you are in your mid teens say 15-16 years old are over 5'0 and are big boned, even if your small boned you are definately under weight. I am going to guess you are over 5'0 which in any case you are under weight. But if by chance you are under 5'0 then it really depends on your bone structure. But unless you are 9-13 years old 82 pounds does not sound like a very healthy weight for you. I would put on a few more get to at least 100 to be healthy at your age.

Talking to a doctor is probably the best way to know. I would say 82 pounds is under weight but I'm no doctor. Depends on height, and stuff. Talk to a parent, and maybe get a doctor opponent if you really worried.

ummm... we need to know more than your age. Give us your height too and your body type?
82 is actually a low number (if you're doing pounds not kg) for anyone who is taller than 4'11.5"... meaning if you are taller than that height and weigh 82lbs... you are underweight (to a teenager's bmi). This could mean eating disorder... malnutrition... anything and you should see a healthcare provider for further assessment to determine possible causes of why you're underweight. Being underweight is very dangerous and has led to multiple problems with women especially, including death.

SERIOUSLY- you need to gain weight-badly. If you are in your early teens (past the age of 11) you should weigh AT LEAST 95 to be healthy. Don't worry about your weight right now, alot of boys say they like girls with curves, and to have curves you haft to weigh more than 82 pounds.

The "ideal" weight is always different depending on your height. However, 82 pounds is way too low for anyone your age, no matter how tall you are. Put on some more pounds; if you get much lighter you will run the risk of getting sick. 82 is nowhere near "too much."
