Not a lot. I'm Irish from my father's side and my husband says when I get angry, the 'Irish shows itself'. But otherwise, my family is brown haired, brown eyes - and I was born blonde hair, blue eyes (so did my sister's child - my neice so aparantly it's a reccessive family trait somewhere) just to have it alter to red hair hazel eyes. I look adopted when I'm standing next to my family. As far as personality traits, I'm the black sheep of the family. I think differently, act differently, my politics are completely different too. Everyone in my family does everything in their lives logically and without excess - I have logic but I also have creativity that they lack (my neice is creative too - weird how that works) and I don't mind splurging once in a while. So except for an Irish temper, I didn't inherit anything else from them. I've become a completly unique individual in apart from them (but then again I also don't have the best of relations with my parents either because of my differences listed above so -shrugs- is it a good thing or bad thing? I've yet to determine).

oh and I inherited Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome we think from both parents (all my joints dislocate easily - basic idea - it's genetic - we know my mother's side has it, my father can be a carrier or have it but he doesn't show signs, but a few women in his family I think have popped up with it giving us the idea both of them passed it along to me). Knew I was forgetting something....
