why do we punish people for attempted suicide? if they're trying to kill themselves and are too dumb to do it before the cops show up we're probably better off without them!

and if you kill a pregnant woman you can get charged with double murder. but the same woman could kill the would-be second victim herself and be free.

what's wrong with our country?

we can do what we want with our bodies. the baby is another human being and has a right to try and make a good life for itself. it's not so much as doing something to your body as it is killing another human without ever giving them a chance to live. just because you might have made some mistakes doesn't mean they will make the same ones. how would you have liked to have been murdered by your parents before you had a chance to hear music, look at the beauty of the earth, fall in love? they're another human being and deserve a chance.

again, what's wrong with this country?

in the case of abortion the mother is the one commiting murder and is the one with the choice of committing cold blooded murder or not to. so is the one who kill the mother. the victim never has a choice. they both have a choice of taking a human life and are both guilty of murder.

as for the suicide thing there really are ppl we are better off without. we should really use the death sentence more because that's the only way to ensure someone never kills again. plus it's cheaper than having to keep 'em and feed 'em.

Ranting are we??? Ok first question....Yes, it IS against the law to attempt suicide, but I have NEVER in MY lifetime heard of ANYONE going to jail or court for TRYING... but how DARE you say in one sentence "we are better off without" people who try to commit suicide and in your next paragraph you are spewing about the rights of an unborn child.... so now we have pro-life---pro-choice and YOUR catagory-----PRO-CONFUSED!!!!!! Abortion is legal in this country LIKE IT OR NOT and hopefully it will STAY legal because I believe a woman should be allowed a CHOICE... and the thing with your mother and baby being murdered theory---the difference between a man killing a PREGNANT woman and being charged with 2 murders and the abortion of a FETUS by a woman is that in the first case NEITHER WAS GIVEN A CHOICE and in the second case, the WOMAN HAS THE CHOICE.....

i don't think your contradicting yourself. i think i see where you're coming from. regardless of who or how it is done if you take another life you deserve to be punished. whether that be your unborn daughter or you girl friend. both are heartless murder and murder deserves punishment. not only to stop the one guilty of murder but to let others considering committing murder know that if they kill that person they're coming with them.

a lazy legislative without discernment of detail and too much faith in the common man with too little concern for human rights doesn't help any .

you do know your whole logic is flawed right?

Your "PRO LIFE" yet PRO DEATH PENALTY.

sorry but to be taken seriously you can't have BOTH.

You just dismissed yourself as a serious individual.
