me and my bff sarah want to go see the neww holloween movie even though it is rated r. if my mom goes and tells them that we can see the movie will they still let us in even though we are under 18......

If your mom goes with you to an R rated movie, they won't say anything. You can watch it as long as your mom buys the tickets and goes in with you.

In most cases, your mom would need to be watching the movie also, or they won't let you guys in. Any R rated movie: you must be over 17 OR accompanied by an adult 21 & over. They don't consider an adult "accompanying" you if they're only buying the tickets for you.

it depends on the theatre and/or the person ur buying ur tickets from; some wont let u go in unless ur mom is going to watch it too regardless on whether she bought the tickets... it happened to one of my friends
