It seems that every disney channel show is just a bunch of kids that are full of themselves.
Hannah Montana can't act or sign, yet everyone loves her.
Ashley tisdale can't sing or act, and she is not very pretty.
Plus, that little kid from Johnny Kapahala or whatever is soo annoying! AHH!.
And about that new show, the wizards of waverly place...come on. I am sooo not watching out.

i know it seems like they all get big heads after a while!!! i like ashley but miley is not my favorite she is kind of full of herself.... and wizards of waverly place how gay!!!!!!!! i want to get on disney channel.....but dont worie the jonas brothers will have there won show soon!!!!!!!

I somewhat agree, and somewhat disagree. It all depends on your tastes and what you're into. Disney Channel is aimed at younger children, so your idea of a good show, and a 9 year old's, will be different.
Also, your idea of a good singer is probably Rihanna or Carrie Underwood or whatever. For a 14-year-old, Miley Cyrus is pretty good. And her songs are aimed at younger kids, so you may not like them.
Ashley Tisdale must be an ok actress if she got signed to an agency and got roles in shows, but different people's oppinions are different.
Yes, that little kid in Johnny Kapahala was very annoying, but that's not his fault, the script told him to act like that. So the people who wrote the script could of done better.
Wizards of Waverly Place will probably turn out to be a cute show for kids, although it kind of reminds me of Phil of the Future, and the girl kinda looks like a guy...lol (sorry...)
So, to wrap things up here: Disney Channel is kinda getting worse with not as well thought out shows and stuff, but then, it's kinda getting "better" because it's keeping up with the standards that the new generation is looking for, and it's keeping kids happy.
Btw, I kinda agree with the person who said Nick is getting worse. Most of their new shows are stupid.

First of all, Disney Channel is a channel that you watch when you grow out of KPBS. Disney Channel is aimed at kids ages 6-11 (I think.) There are kids who act on Disney Channel because kids watch Disney Channel. Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale are good role models for kids. They don't smoke, drink, party every night like Paris Hilton, who ended up in jail.
However, I do agree with you on the Wizards of Waverly Place. Magic for Disney Channel is just weird. Isn't Harry Potter enough? And that main character? Her face scares me.

Disney is definitely nothing but a waste of time these days. What do kids or teens get from there- Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, Jonas brothers, Vanessa, Zac Efron... they're just becoming obsessed with these teen stars and yakking about them all day on Yahoo Answers... 'who's dating Zac', 'Zanessa'...
Some say Hannah Montana is the best singer ever (!!!!!!!). Some say Ashey Tisdale is so pretty (!!!!!!!!!). I don't know what's going on with the world today!

This is the main reason why I don't watch Disney. That show is like Harry Potter on crack and then smoked some weed while getting his faced bashed in. Why can't they do something original for once and stop making crappy quality shows. I sure miss the old Disney with "Smart Guy." Anyway, this is one of the prime reasons why I just skip Disney and watch anime.

I think all the kids networks are going down the tubes. Disney, Cartoon Network, Nick...
I watch those channels when I baby-sit and most of the shows just don't have a lot of quality.

i agree on hannah montana...but the channel that is really down the toilet is nickoledeon...the last good show they made is just jordan. naked brothers band sucked and like all the cartoons they made this year SUCKED!
