Does the ring actually say "BONDED" or is that just in the description of it? I believe the definitions below should answer your questions:
GOLD - A shiny, bright-yellow, precious metal mined from the earth. Too soft in its native state it is commonly alloyed to make it stronger and lessen the cost. In the 24 part karat system, gold is typically 14 parts gold and 10 parts alloy (stamped 14K or 585) or 18 parts gold and 6 parts alloy (stamped 18K or 750).
GOLD PLATE - A base metal that is electroplated with gold. Also known as gold flash, gold finish, gold tone or gold dipped.
GOLD FILLED - A layer of gold bonded to a base metal. The weight of gold must be 1/20th of the total weight or more and must be 10KT or better. Wears better than a gold plated item because there is much more gold.

There are two answers to this question, but I'm going to give you a short lesson in gold items. After a gold stamp, such as 14K, you should see the manufactures mark. In this case, it may have been made by a company using "BONDED" as their trademark or hallmark as is known in the jewelry trade, but this would be highly unlikely because it is typically a stamp or charachter logo that the registered uses to represent their company.
If the ring was made in China for instance, it would definately mean layered or plated. In the U.S. such layerd gold is marked 14K 1/12 because it is mostly base metals layerd with 14K gold and basically costume jewelry. Obviously only 1/12th of the material is 14K gold. This is different than gold plating which is made entirely of base metals such as zink and copper and then dipped in a solution electrically charged to bond a thin layer or skin of 14K gold to make it look like gold.
Legitimate manufactures have a registered hallmark. In Itally for instance you may see 14K AU which stands for the Aurifin company; world known for their quality. Italy only exports 14K gold to other countries because Italians do not buy anything less that 18K to 22K. Middle east countries subscribe to 22K to 24K solid gold.
My conclusion is that your ring is of base metal with a 14K gold plating, not much different that painting a minute layer of gold and in time the gold will wear off and your finger will turn green as a result of the properties of the base metal, particularly copper, that interacts with your body's perspiration. The stamp on your ring was made during the manufacturing process and when it was coated with the thin layer of gold, it appears that it was stamped after production however it was in the mould and the gold covering just filled that stamp in the final production. Additionally, gold has a high specifig gravity, meaning it is heavy and probably not as light weight as your ring.
I have been a gemologist appraiser for 23 years and have never seen a company produce a product and stamp it with the word "BONDED", however I know what that means. Unfortunalely, your ring is not solid 14K gold and if it has a stone of any kind in it; it will either be plastic, glass or a synthetic.

It means that the ring is plated in 14K, not solid gold. Look for your finger to turn green.

If it's not stamped with "14k", it's not MADE of gold. It's plated, bonded, etc with gold...but it's not what you expect when you see 14k.

Its both, fake and real. Its real gold on the outside but the inside has some other metals in it to make it stronger and last longer.
