What a wonderful thing for you to do. Since we know that most feral cats would never adapt to living inside, I'd build a shelter/kennel. Make it escape proof,. large enough for exercising, and to have food dishes well away from a litter box. Provide warm bedding that gets washed once in a while.

You might try a dog house. Put a blanket in it or some pine shavings. I have a cat who is an indoor/outdoor cat, and one winter he actually kicked my dog out of her dog house and made it his own. I had to buy her a new one and put it on the other side of the yard. I live in the Deep South, so when it's not 100 degrees like it is now, this cat stays outside most of the time and is either in his dog house or sitting on top of it.

Feral cats should be euthanized they are not a natural species and disrupt the balance of the ecosystems. The can wipe out bird populations and other small animals.

It is good you are trapping and fixing feral cats , they are a pest to our native flora & fauna . Not to mention our own domesticated pets!

Wow, what an awesome thing for you to do!
I would probably just buy or build a doghouse-type structure. Just make sure it's waterproof and you can put a couple of blankets inside.

I use rubbermaid containers on their side w/ blankets inside and I face it towards the house to block out the wind.

You dont,Its all good thinking your helping nature by saving the little cute and cuddly things but your not You either shoot them or kiss goodbye to our very fragile native bird life. its like keeping possums as pets...bloody irresponsible.It truly is that simple.
