I'm a registered independent (small i). I can declare myself whatever party I need to, when I go in to vote. On the way out, I can they re-declare myself independent. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but I would never commit to either of the two major parties, because their leaders and nominees are always bought out by the most powerful lobbyists.

I'm a 'soft' libertarian with a few progressive ideas thrown into the mix. A political hybrid of sorts.

They understand the need for a fully-funded military.

They realize that there are actual AMERICANS in what the left so snobbishly refers to as the "fly over states."

Disclaimer: I'm a Libertarian who tends to vote Republican because the left scares the hell out of me.

Hey, Ninny - I work with almost all liberals. With VERY few notable exceptions, their men are very soft and feminine. NOT sexy in my book.

BTW - studies have shown that religious women are the most sexually satisfied. Since so many on the left are scared of religion, that means most of those women must be Republicans.

Have a nice night.

MY political party is in my basement. First I added some views, and got some dolls, and dressed them up in tiny outfits. Then i wrote a constitution for my party that said, "no boogeying without the rubber, and to always remember, red heads tend to have red woods"

Then I got them a disco ball and realized i had no life

But continued my political party's conquest of my basement

I don't technically belong to any party; however, since I almost always vote Democrat, I'd say it's their refusal to cave into religious dogmatism in order to appeal more to the "moral" minority.

Goober- the republican party does not represent Jesus. Don't even try and play that bull. You know it's not true. A seperation of Church and State exists in Politics, and you're breaching it.

Not much, but it's the best system we have.
I've been on both sides.
And yet I still vote.
With my heart.
