Both of the following paragraphs are taken right out of Wikkipedia. If your teacher see’s them in this form she will bust you. But you can paraphrase and change things around a little. In your paragraph you say that they WERE allowed to drink alcohol is that correct or did you mean not allowed?

In what became known as the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre of 24 August – 17 September 1572, Catholics killed thousands of Huguenots in Paris. Similar massacres took place in other towns in the weeks following, with death toll estimates again ranging wildly, from thousands to as high as 110,000. An amnesty granted in 1573 pardoned the perpetrators.

Above all, Huguenots became known for their fiery criticisms of worship as performed in the Roman Catholic Church, in particular the focus on ritual and what seemed an obsession with death and the dead. They believed the ritual, images, saints, pilgrimages, prayers, and hierarchy of the Catholic Church did not help anyone toward redemption. They saw Christian faith as something to be expressed in a strict and godly life, in obedience to Biblical laws.

So the Huguenots were the beginnings of the Protestant movement and Protestand Church!

The sentance They thought the Catholic church was to fancy and they wanted to make it more fancy - dosent make since. Re read then re write that. I also thnk fancy is a weak word here. Replace it at least once in the sentance. Good luck!

I will record a couple of for every class for you which are well reads and feature massive literary benefit that you'll be able to examine. For fiction: the adventures of huckleberry Finn, slaughterhouse-5, king Lear, the center of darkness, the crucible, the scarlet letter, the stranger, the poisonwood bible. Some non-fiction books which are similarly fine are the diary of Anne Frank, the wrestle of the bulge, the geeks, boomerang, it will get higher, and the social animal. Look up a couple of of the ones, they're all valued at studying!
