I thought "Quotations from the Works of Mao Tse-tung"
was Number 2 on the all-time most popular list
followed by "The American Spelling Book."

I think maybe " To Kill a Mocking bird" or Pride and prejudice
But the the book that made the most impact on my life after the Bible of course, was a book we had to read in 9th grade. Which would have been in 1969-1970, and it was called.........
"Black Like Me". I realized than that all people were the SAME, AND i DIDN'T KNOW THAT PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RACES WERE BEING TREATED DIFFERENT. I lived a very sheltered life, I was SHOCKED, OUTRAGED, MAD, ANGRY, HURT, UPSET, AND CRIED THRU THE WHOLE BOOK.
I knew than I wanted to raise my future children to treat all people the SAME!!!
