I sure do!
I was in a car accident just recently where the driver of the other car, a young girl, pulled out in front of me.
I slammed into her drivers side door at 90kms (55 miles) an hour and she walked away without a scratch.
I on the other hand fractured my knee cap and almost broke my nose from the airbag. I also had a huge bruise across my chest from the seat belt.
I walked away from that accident a different person.
I dont take advantage of anyone or anything in my life anymore.
It could have all been over in that split second and now I see life in a different light.
And the thing I appreciate more than anything else in my life is that my 2 young kids werent in the car with me for once!!

The way I have it figured, is that if we are all going to die one way or the other, then why even try?
If the life we are living is not going to matter when the next life force takes the planet over, then what is the sense of making a mark, or leaving a legacy? No one from the next life forms will ever know anything about us anyway.

Oh yes, I sure do appreciate how precious life is. I don't even like to kill bugs, unless they are invading my personal space, like crawling on me. Then I usually just brush them away, not deliberately killing them. I get sad when I see a dead animal in the road too.

Every day! I'm glad I can walk. I'm glad I can breathe. I'm glad I can talk.....I'm thankful for all of it.
When people say "It's a nice day isn't it?" I always think (and sometimes say) "Every day is a nice day."
When I see old people I think: They are the lucky ones. They made it past all the hurdles and stayed alive.
I rejoice in the pleasures of every day.

yep, it's easy to take things for granted, until you see someone get suddenly taken, then you realize how fleeting life really is, and learn to appreciate what time you do have
