I broke my fibula ankle and went to the ortho today and i got my cast off. The doctor said an xray wasnt neccasry. I couldwalk/limp with a little pain and discomfort after i got home. But now a few hrs later there is a big bruse on the middle of my foot. I noticed it when i was walking and i felt pain in that area so i checked it out and saw the big bruise. The bruise is a definite bump and its red/purple and in the middle of it there's what looks like white puss or some kind of white part. Ive been walking around all day to try to exercise it. But now the bruised part is painful and its scary looking at it

I would suggest calling your doctor asap. It sounds like something could possibly be wrong.

Did your doctor see this, 'white thing?'

If he did then I am sure it is nothing probably some minor bruising due to the cast. Why was the cast removed anyways? Did he say it was time you could walk or did he remove it suddenly to check something.

Dont put pressure on the blip, and dont try to poke it out okay. For now put your feet in a warm water bath. This will help ease pain and then you can walk on it a little.

If the doctor did not see this white blob then go to him immediately. Hopefully its not an abcess.

Call the doctor. If you are in pain, go to an urgent care center or an ER if you feel you need immediate help.

See another doctor. The first one may have misdiagnosed. It sounds like a bone may have broken or splintered it may come through the skin. Seek help ASAP. Then go see a lawyer for your pain and suffering. Good Luck.
