i have a sony vaio,with sonic record now,after dvd is burned only can play it on the laptop?

need to know what to do and how to do it so that the dvd can play on home dvd player?

make sure that you are using the right type of discs....Some DVD players on read DVD-R discs, and some DVD+R discs. If you're using DVD+R discs, then try using DVD-R discs. Also, make sure that Record Now is finalizing the discs...look for the option under "options" or preferences....
