I hope I don't come across as arrogant, but I know I am terrified of rejection. It is keeping me from letting mental health professionals know how very dark and painful my thoughts sometimes get.

You know .. at the moment, I don't think I am.
But when I think back to that day, I was wrong, and I realize soon enough that I was afraid, and possibly arrogant.

Living life will have a person facing rejection of some kind. It cannot be escapes, so I am never afraid.

Most people are afraid of rejection...that's the number one reason for being nervous.

I am terrified of rejection ,probably the most isecure of any man i have ever met ,yah ... i may come offf as arogant but i am really just deeply hurt and expect hatered and rejection ...

No. I am not afraid of rejection. I thank my parents for loving me and liking me enough to make me feel confident. I'am o.k you're o.k. Just maybe not together. Not a problem.

Not any more...sometimes I prefer rejection, then I can avoid the stroking and other maintenance required to 'keep' an acquaintance

YES!! I so know what you mean and I feel the same way. So many people think that I am stuck up but I am just shy and I wish they understood but they dont. I am just so scared of other people thinking that I am not worth it and I just am to scared to even try.

To be truthful I neever had a date so I don't know but I think that I would be afraid if I ever did get a date.
