Two thousand miles due West of South Carolina is: Bakersfield, California. That is in a straight line from the South Carolina border with Georgia, near Tallulah Falls, GA. This is the Western point of South Carolina.

Then you can guess states and type them into yahoo maps. I recommend checking the distance b/t your city and Albuquerque or Phoenix. It will be somewhere around there.
